The gym had ample equipment and included a sauna. Steam room and a nice pool! The breakfast buffet had a great selection and the service was so polite. The bar area offered comfortable seating perfect for relaxation! I appreciated the clean room with a comfortable bed, ensuring a good night.

The rooms were spacious. The beds were huge.
The website stated the hotel provided a shuttle from the train station, yet this service was not available, extending my travel time. The hotel website also said the hotel offers laundry service. It does not. This was quite disappointing. It has an upscale facade, lacking amenities that should be included at the price point.

the grounds are beautiful and sprawling (they certainly make the most of the scottish landscape).
I found the restaurant service quite slow. I waited over fifteen minutes just to place my order. the breakfast buffet was pretty basic. also, the fire in the cocktail bar wasn't lit.
